Caring with Confidence Facilitator
|
To successfully deliver learning sessions in accordance with the aims and objectives of the Caring with Confidence Project based on accreditation to ‘Passport to Practice’ status.
The project offers carers across the city a free learning experience mainly through local group sessions, or by completing self study workbooks or by accessing online sessions. Facilitators should be aware that there is a strong emphasis less on facilitator input and more on the group at each session building, sharing and developing their ideas, expertise and experience, using peer support in looking for ways forward.

Insurance Arranger Level 3
|
To assist the Trading Supervisor in all aspects of Age Concern Trading [Insurance] activities, including promoting, quoting and arranging insurances and selling associated trading products to personal callers. To ensure Financial Services Authority regulatory compliance at all times throughout the Trading team and own activities.
To respond to requests for assistance and to ensure that this addresses the individual’s specific needs. To work with colleagues to implement new trading products as appropriate, to participate in all promotional activities for trading products and to provide flexible cover at appropriate Trading outlets within Age Concern Birmingham.

Area Manager South
|
This post is one of three positions of Area Manager within Age Concern Birmingham that cover the city of Birmingham. The post holders will have a shared responsibility for delivering advice and information to older people and their families, arranging and promotion of associated products and local community fundraising. Support is also needed for volunteers within the south Birmingham area.
There will be a commitment to provide services to older people, including those who may have a physical or learning disability or a mental health problem and a responsibility for growth and development of existing services.

Senior Day Services Assistant
|
To provide assistance within the Hurstway day centre and the wider community, as applicable.
Within the day centres the clients will be frail older people with physical disabilities and mental health problems and other people who, at the discretion of the Day Services Manager, may be accepted within the provision available.
There will be a need to deliver all aspects of the day care services as well as supporting the development of the services and supervise the running of the Day Centre in the absence of the Day Centre Manager.

Day Services Manager
|
To manage a day care centre / service within a defined unit in Kitts Green, Birmingham including providing escort duties when necessary. There will be responsibility for some growth and development of existing services, which must be managed within the budgetary provision and policy guidelines of the organisation.
Within the day centre the clients will be older with mental health problems. It will be at the discretion of the manager to accept other clients who may fit in well to the provision available. This will be dependent upon vacancies, staffing knowledge and skills and available funding.
