Lunch Clubs

We provide Lunch Facilities in a range of locations across Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield.

Several of our Lunch Clubs are based in the communal areas of sheltered accommodation complexes, and are open to both the residents of the complex, and to non-residents living in the local area. All provide a two-course meal, at a small charge.

As well as a cooked lunch, the Clubs are designed to offer companionship, activities, and mental and social stimulation in an appropriate environment.

To attend one of our Lunch Clubs, people can be referred by their doctor or social worker, a carer or member of the family, or a person can refer themselves. Transport can sometimes be arranged where required.

Lunch Clubs can be attended on just one day per week, or more frequently, according to the wishes of the individual. They are particularly suitable for older people who live alone, and who are seeking companionship on a regular basis among a group of others, for a few hours. Individual users are asked to make a small contribution each day they attend, for their meal and refreshments.
