Tradesperson & Handyman

Are you aged over 50 or disabled and have a job you need doing in the home or garden? The Tradesperson and Handyman Directory may be able to help!

Searching for a tradesperson can be a daunting experience especially knowing that there may be "rogue traders" operating in the area. Age Concern Birmingham recognises the need for a list of reliable trades-people to bring peace of mind to older people living in Birmingham.

The Tradesperson & Handyman Directory can provide you with a list of trades-people that can undertake work including;
  • Gardening
  • Decorating
  • Roofing
  • Electrics
  • Fencing
  • Security and Safety Tasks
  • Plumbing
  • Odd Jobs

How does ACB know that their service providers are reliable?
All potential trades-people are rigorously vetted by an Age Concern Birmingham representative. They are visited in their own home and must provide references and insurance, as well as undertaking a criminal records check.

In the rare case that a valid complaint is received regarding one of our trades-people, they are immediately removed from the Directory.

How do I contact the Tradesperson and Handyman Directory?
Call the Directory Team on 0121 262 3020. If you tell us what type of work you need doing, we can provide you with some suitable names and numbers for you to contact for a no-obligation quote.
