What is it?

Financial Inclusion is about helping everyone to gain the skills and knowledge to be able to handle money and financial matters.
We do this through a range of financial literacy sessions that make the complex clear. You can attend one of our group modules, ask us to arrange a group session for you and others or request   an individual session, whichever you prefer!

What are the modules?

Our six modules are based around the following topics:

1. Accessing and using financial services – Bank accounts: How they work and how to get the best from them.
2. Borrowing money – What is it? How it works, different types of borrowing and their suitability.
3. Bills and Budgeting – Making your money go further, being in control of your finances, taming your bills.
4. Saving and Investing – Planning for the future. Have you got enough? Making your money work harder for you.
5. Dealing with debt – What is debt? How to deal with it. Are you in control of your borrowing? Where to go for support and advice.
6. Retirement Planning – Types of pensions and different ways of saving for the long term future. The lifecycle of a pension, from saving to income, and the choices available at retirement.
