Donate a Car

Age Concern Birmingham has introduced a new scheme where you can donate your car to charity.
Why donate a car
It’s an easy way to support a worthwhile charity and it doesn’t mean you have to part with any cash.
When might you consider this option?
  • Are you giving up driving?
  • Have you recently become widowed and cannot drive?
  • Are the running expenses of your vehicle too much?
  • Is the trade in value too low?
  • Can you afford and be bothered to advertise?
  • Are you moving abroad and don’t want to pay import tax?

How does it work?
The vehicle doesn’t need tax, mot or insurance but needs to be drivable. To donate a car simply call Ron on 0121 262 3020 who will take the details of the prospective car, its location and your contact details. Following an initial telephone call one of our engineers will arrange a visit, collect the signed documentation and then arrange for the vehicle to be removed.

It’s as simple as that!

How does Age Concern Birmingham benefit from donated cars?
Once the vehicle is sold the proceeds are used to provide services to older people living in Birmingham.
