Within Birmingham there is one Age Concern Organisation and three Groups, the latter of which are located at Weoley Castle, Perry Barr and Kingstanding.

Weoley Castle contact details are as follows: The Community Church, Quarry Road, Birmingham B29 5LE, tel: 01221 477 0272 and email: ac.weoley@virgin.net. The office is open from 9am to 12 mid day Monday to Friday.

Services provided include, Information and Advice, a bathing advisory service for those who have problems bathing or showering, including a home visit from an Occupational Therapist who will make an assessment and arrange for the appropriate equipment to be provided. Grants can also be possible to help with the purchase of items or to install a shower. Day centre facilities include a mens club, visually impaired club, depression/anxiety group, a group for Afro-Caribbean women, a Euro Club for women born in Continental Europe, a cardi-act group that is an exercise session for those who have had a heart attack.
