Age Concern Birmingham has a wide range of job opportunities offering the satisfaction of helping to improve the quality of life for older people in Birmingham. We currently have the following vacancies:

Assistant Manager

Assistant Manager to work developing, marketing and implementing insurance and other products and services for older people

  • Do you have experience of delivering quality insurance products?
  • Can you develop, promote and implement the delivery of new products and services to a general market?
  • Do you have excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills?
  • Do you have experience of complying with FSA requirements for the provision of insurance products?

 What are we asking for?

  • A commitment to the work of advant~Age and, in particular, to providing quality products and services to our customers
  • Previous experience of working to FSA regulations in relation to the provision of insurance products
  • A knowledge and understanding of providing customer services
  • Enthusiasm for the role
  • Good communication skills, both in writing and in person
  • Organised, able to prioritise and able to use own initiative

Salary: £13,440 per annum [pro rata £21,000]

Role is initially offered on a fixed term basis to 31st March 2013
