Legally qualified person wanted

Age Concern Birmingham is the largest charity providing care and support to people over the age of 50 years across Birmingham and surrounding areas.

ACB is looking to expand its in house service in relation to Powers of Attorney and associated legal provisions.  We already have one legal advisor and now wish to increase the service due to client demand. We are therefore seeking a local, qualified person to work with us on a self employed basis. ACB will provide office space in Boldmere as required.

Please note we are not seeking to enter into a formal relationship with a firm or company but want someone who will work directly with our clients on an independent basis.

This is a great opportunity that is already developing for clients who trust the organisation and rely on ACB to look after their best interests. The person who works with ACB will need not just the skills and qualifications; there will need to be empathy and understanding of the needs of older people and the desire to be of service.

Please e-mail your CV and covering letter detailing your qualifications, other information that may be of interest, together with your thoughts on how you may be able to fulfil this requirement to hr@ageconcernbirmingham.org.uk or post to Age Concern Birmingham, 76 – 78 Boldmere Road, Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield, B73 5TJ
