Age Concern Birmingham has a wide range of job opportunities offering the satisfaction of helping to improve the quality of life for older people in Birmingham. Commercial Development Manager

Based: Head office – Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield
Salary: £32 - 35,000 per annum
Inclusive of Essential Car User allowance
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Variable days and hours may be required

To be the lead manager on the Senior Management Team for the development and initiation of the business and commercial aspects of Age Concern Birmingham (ACB), identifying new opportunities and bringing them to fruition in conjunction with the Director of Operations and Director of Development.  This will include the development of sustainable commercial services in the new Boldmere premises and elsewhere as appropriate to the role. 

Marketing of all products and services will be integral to this role so a firm grasp of the dynamics and practices of modern marketing will be required. 

There may also be some future line management of specific projects and when this occurs the post holder will participate in a matrix management system with a central co-ordination role.

JCUK Service Co-ordinator


Based: Head Office, Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield
Salary: £18,200 pa

To assist the Registered Manager with the co-ordination and smooth running of a city-wide Home Support and Personal Care Domiciliary Service that will provide quality services to older people and others in need. This will be achieved through continual recruitment of new clients, workers and care workers and the ongoing matching of the same to enable service delivery to comence within an agreed timeframe, as well as the co-ordinating of existing clients and workers.

Domiciliary Care Workers
Based:  All areas in Birmingham. We are recruiting particularly for Four Oaks, Edgbaston, Streetly, Hockley, Lozells and Newtown areas.
To provide a domiciliary care service, including personal care, to individuals within their own homes as described within their individual work plans, respecting and ensuring their privacy and dignity at all times.
